I can design a new garden for you, or redesign your existing garden.

My knowledge and understanding of the interaction between plants and their environments- especially the soil, hydrology, and microclimate of a site – allows me to choose the right plants or trees for a site, ensuring successful establishment and a planting which fits into its surroundings.
I can design a garden which is attractive whilst also being filled with interesting and suitable plants as I am a knowledgeable plantsman, having been a collection-holder for the NCCPG, and involved in the development of their DEMETER database.
I can also advise on suitable plants for you to plant yourself, and help to source rare and interesting plants, shrubs and trees.

In addition to my self –employed work for individual clients, I work for the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) as their Horticultural Clerk of Works for Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows each summer, supervising the building of the show gardens, and then the reinstatement of the site after the show. This, along with my years of experience, make me the perfect person to help you with your garden, whether large or small, modern or classic.
